FAQ
1. Can it be used in seawater?
Short-term use is possible, but salt spray will accelerate the aging of the sealing ring. It is recommended to choose a full copper or stainless steel model and check it regularly.
2. Is the brightness sufficient for aquatic plants?
Warm white 3-10W products are suitable for low- to medium light aquatic plants as accents or supplements; high light requirements necessitate an additional full-spectrum lamp.
3. How do I set the timer for the corded model?
Press the power button repeatedly to select 3h-6h-8h-12h. Once set, it will automatically repeat daily. Resetting is required after a power outage.
4. Will it be damaged by ice in winter?
The IP68 lamp body is water-resistant, but ice expansion may compress the outer casing; it is recommended to place the lamp in deep water or remove it for storage during winter.
5. Can the cord be cut to extend or shorten?
The flat 2-core low-voltage cord can be cut as needed. The cut ends must be sealed with glue and waterproofed; otherwise, water ingress may cause a short circuit.
