1. Cut off the power
Find the distribution box that controls the pool light and make sure that all power is cut off.
Press the switch of the light fixture to check whether the power is completely cut off.
2. Remove the pool light fixture
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the light fixture cover.
Take the light fixture out of the niche or embedded part. Usually the light fixture will reserve 1-1.5 meters of wire to facilitate operation without drainage.
3. Repair or replace the bulb
Pull the light fixture to the side of the pool or on the shore for repair or bulb replacement.
Open the light fixture housing and check and replace the bulb. At the same time, check whether the seal is damaged and replace the seal if necessary.
4. Test the light fixture
Test the newly installed LED light on the shore to ensure that it is working properly.
If the light fixture is working properly, cut off the power and reinstall the light fixture in the niche.
5. Pool light installation
First, put the light back in place and tighten the screws around the pool light. After making sure that the pool light is firmly fixed, turn on the power to check whether the pool light can be used normally.
Pool light installation precautions
1) During the installation process, make sure that the power supply of the pool light is completely cut off to avoid electric shock and endanger personal safety.
2) During installation, ensure that the sealing ring and joints of the pool light have good waterproof performance to prevent water ingress. The waterproof level must reach IP68.
